Mathematics is a popular choice in the Sixth Form where students follow the Edexel Mathematics course, which is a natural follow-on to the GCSE. Students who have aspirations to this level of study need to follow the Higher Tier at GCSE to build the foundations necessary for studying at this level.
Above all it is important that pupils study this subject at their appropriate level to ensure maximum enjoyment and success in an essential area of a modern school curriculum.
